2022 Student Showcase – Performance On Point
Performance on Point: 2022 Student Showcase at Greg Frewin Theatre on Tuesday, June 21st @ 7pm
Performance On Point (POP) is a singing & acting coaching program located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Creator of POP, Tenja Hagenberg, is an active performer with years of training and is committed to helping people realize their full potential as singers, actors, and performers in the Niagara area.
In 2017, Tenja’s world was devastatingly altered by the death of her brother and best friend, Klaus, who lost his battle with mental illness– which no one knew he was struggling with. Tenja knew whatever was to come next in her career she would be using it as a platform to help raise funds and awareness for mental health and create a positive impact out of her immense loss.
Tenja opened Performance On Point in January 2018. What started as 5 students looking for a few pointers in singing and acting has grown to over 45 students; excelling in confidence and skills and landing jobs in the professional world of theatre and film.
Since the first Student Showcase in the fall of 2018, Performance on Point has always donated 100% of our seat and raffle sales to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Niagara.
We have raised over $16 000.00 to date.
This year the show will be at the Greg Frewin Theatre on Tuesday, June 21st with the showtime at 7pm! Highlighting our Performance On Point students; music from music theatre, jazz and pop/rock. Sure to be an awesome evening of entertainment!
