Free Community Event for World Hepatitis Day
Niagara Health’s Hepatitis C Care clinic is hosting two events aimed at spreading awareness about the Hepatitis virus.
The first event takes place at Montebello Park in St. Catharines on Friday, July 22, from 11 am to 3 pm.
The second takes place on World Hepatitis Day, Thursday, July 28, at St. Andrews United Church in Niagara Falls from 10 am to 2 pm.
The goal of these events is to spread awareness about hepatitis and provide services such as testing. The day will also include food, refreshments, entertainment, and a community health fair bringing more than 30 community partners together to showcase mental health and addiction and other health-related services available in the region. (Participants include CMHA Niagara (Montebello Park only), GO VAXX Bus, REACH Niagara, dental services, and more!)
