CMHA Niagara to Host Virtual Fundraising Event

Canadian Mental Health Association, (CMHA) Niagara Branch along with Shoppers Drug Mart (Presenting Sponsor), is excited to invite the world to its 11th Annual Women & Wellness Event on Tuesday, February 22, 2022!

PenFinancial Credit Union (Corporate Speaker Sponsor) is thrilled to introduce featured guest speaker Nova Nicole, who will deliver a passionate and compelling approach to mental health awareness and tools for resilience and recovery for personal life management.

To circumvent COVID-19 restrictions and concerns which effectively cancelled the 2020 event, CMHA Niagara is extending an invitation to all to help celebrate Women & Wellness in a safe and accessible way!

“It is our hope that this free event will not only provide information and strategies about assertiveness, advocacy, and personal leadership, but will inspire and motivate our community to understand and support the services CMHA Niagara provides Niagara residents” said Tara McKendrick, CMHA Niagara’s Executive Director.

As a well-known Workplace Mental Health Advisor and Leadership Development Facilitator at Shopify, Nova is a fixture on the internationally syndicated talk show CTV’s ‘The Social’, and has been profiled in The Globe and Mail, Chatelaine, CBC and CTV.

“CMHA Niagara is excited to be a part of an engaging and meaningful virtual presentation,” said McKendrick. “Nova’s humour, lived experiences, and authentic storytelling is sure to instill a renewed sense of confidence, empowerment, and personal development strategies to set people up for success.”
